This is the 4th generation of the Diavel since it began in 2011. The Diavel V4 will have broad appeal in the rider marketplace, from sports enthusiasts who revel in performance motorcycles but are wanting something more comfortable and stylish, to those who simply like a muscle cruiser for around town or a weekend fang on the open roads to joyously sample the Diavel's linear power and vigorous torque. 

The MY23 Diavel V4 features include the 1158cc V4 Granturismo engine is 104cc less than the 1262cc Diavel, but produces 4hp more than its predecessor, with 168 hp arriving a bit higher at 10,750rpm, the 1158cc V4 has a peak torque of 126Nm, down 3Nm from its predecessor, but engineered to reach maximum torque at the same 7,500rpm, transmission is 6 speed with Ducati Quick Shift up/down, the chassis is a new aluminium monocoque design using the engine as a stressed component, front suspension is 50mm USD forks and is fully adjustable with compression and preload adjustment on the left tube, and rebound on the right tube, rear suspension is monoshock with fully adjustable preload, compression and rebound. There's 15mm more travel in MY23, front brakes are twin 330mm Brembo discs paired with Stylema radial calipers, and at the rear is a single 265mm Brembo disc with a 2-piston caliper, rider-assist electronics include:- + three power modes and four riding modes (sport, touring, urban and wet), + traction control is Ducati's 'DTC EVO 2' system with cornering ABS, + Ducati Brake Light, Ducati Power Launch, Cruise control, Wheelie control, + up/down quickshifter for the six-speed transmission. Other electronic conveniences include:- + Bluetooth connectivity, + 12.7cm TFT dashboard that incorporates phone, music and navigation functionality. Seat height is 790mm and the V4's bars are 20mm closer to the rider for greater comfort. 236kg wet weight. 20L fuel tank that's good for about 320km. For passengers, there are fold-away foot pegs and a telescopic grab bar.
The service intervals are 15,000km or 24 months, with the major not being due until a whopping 60,000kms
