The Ducati DesertX is a highly versatile, next generation adventure and sport bike, especially catering for riders pursuing long off-road adventures into unknown territory. The DesertX is a brand new design that is robust, contemporary and very functional that also gives the rider the highest level of comfort for off-road riding.

The MY23 DesertX features include:

- The latest, lighter evolution of the 937 cc Testastretta 11 desmo engine, with 110hp, 92Nm of torque, tuned for off-road use.
- Advanced electronics with 6 riding modes specifically for either Enduro or Rally conditions.
- A new off-road gear ratio.
- A new off-road frame designed and tested to withstand the toughest conditions, with an aluminum cowl that covers and protects most of the engine.
- A seat height of 875mm (optional lowering kit is available).
- Generous ground clearance (250mm) with 21” front and 18” rear wheels.
- Kayaba long stroke suspension, with 46mm upside-down front forks offering 230mm of travel that is also adjustable in compression, rebound and preload. The rear monoshock allows 220 mm of rear wheel travel and is fully adjustable in compression, rebound and preload.
- Brembo brakes with ABS Cornering function. The front has Brembo M50 monobloc radial calipers with 4 pistons of 30 mm diameter, axial master cylinder with adjustable levers and 320 mm double front disc with aluminum flanges. The rear has a single 265 mm diameter disc with a double-piston floating caliper.
- An asymmetrical tank design, with a large 21 litre capacity, an off-centre cap and the tank is made of metal, not composite materials. There is the possibility of mounting a second tank at the rear of the bike as an accessory, adding an additional 8 liters of fuel.
- Very comfortable ergonomics with the saddle, handlebars and foot peg arrangement allowing easy, stable, controlled and comfortable rider transition from sitting to standing to sitting riding.
- Clever aerodynamics that directs fresh air to the rider from ducts hidden behind the side guards, while hot air from the radiator is redirected underneath the bike.
- A load capacity of almost 120 L of volume available between bags and top boxes, made of aluminium.
- Tubeless Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres.
