The Ducati Panigale 1299 was the last of the Italian firm’s flagship V-twin superbikes before the switch to a V4 engine in 2018. Ducati's 1299 Panigale isn't a machine that really strikes you as being in need of more performance. Armed with a nought to 100km/h time of less than 3.0 seconds and one of the most honed dynamic packages on offer in superbike land, the Italian flagship beggars belief with its raw ability on the road, let alone a track. The electronics package is hugely sophisticated. It features EBD, (Engine Brake Control), DQS (Ducati Quick-Shift), DWC (Ducati Wheelie Control), DTC (Ducati Traction Control) with IMU (Internal Measurement Unit) and cornering ABS.
